Hey all!

My sister has corneal edema due to a genetic eye abnormality. There’s some amazing stem cell injections that were developed in Japan and are undergoing trials here in the U.S. Only turns out she doesn’t qualify bc she already lost vision in one eye.

We’ve heard through the grapevine that some Americans travel to Japan themselves for the treatment. We’re considering it but can’t get in touch w anyone in Japan.

Is anyone on here a patient who’s done it?
