Solicitors
We had a solicitor come by the other day. Our front door was open for the screen door because it was warm outside. Solicitor yelled "hello!" at the screen door while knocking and looking into my living room. This was rude enough.
I came to the door and he launched into his pitch. I stopped him and said, "I have a no soliciting sign," while pointing to it. He continued with, "Yes, but not selling anything, but want to tell you about the work we did for your neighbors." I said "No thank you," and shut the inner door. AITA, or is this the new normal?
