My dog ripped out his dew claw last Thursday. The quick was totally exposed and I took him to the vet. I've been back to the vet every other day now to have it re-bandaged. Yesterday I went back because his paw seemed swollen to me. They said it wasn't and rewrapped it. This looks swollen to me.. and he is limping on it. I have an appt to check the bandage tomorrow. I can't keep going back because they're wrapping it too tight. Is it okay to stick it out until tomorrow? Should I cut this bandage off and just keep a cone on him? I've never had an injury wrapped for this long so the whole situation is weird to me. I was under the impression it needed to breathe to heal. Thanks for any advice!
