Anyone have any tips on tying the fg knot? Mine keep slowing undoing itself after like 3 fish and it’s getting a lil annoying. My guide holes are really small and idk what other knot to use that’ll fit through my guide holes besides the fg. I’m using 15 pound braid and connecting to 20 pound mono so idk if that may be a problem or not.
So I just got my first bait aster and it’s the Shimano slx xt. So far I like it and I’ve gotten pretty used to it already but I just have a question about my line. So I mainly got it for bass and snakehead (and whatever else lives in Florida’s ponds) fishing so I put 15 pound braid and 20 pound leader but I’ve been seeing people put 20-40 pound braid on theirs for bass. Is my line to light or are other people just over doing it?
