So it has been a minute since I have last smoked pork butt and I plan to do it for dinner my next work day. Do y'all reckon it would be better to smoke it to completion then reheat it in the oven the next day or would it be better to smoke it about 2/3rds of the way and finish it the following day? I have already decided that starting it from minute one at work is not a good idea.

I have presmoked ribs half way before for a party but never butt. I'm not sure what will be best for texture and flavor or if its inconsequential.

Forwhatever its worth its a ten pound bone in Boston butt.
