So, has anyone had their insurance do the push back of " your provider needs to contact the insurance and provide additional information and requests authorization " ? My pharmacy let me know this.
My insurance plan says that my pharmacy will charge $50 for Zep.
What is the magic phrase to tell the insurance to cover what they say they will? I know I am not alone, but I am not going quietly to give up and self pay. Any help is appreciated.
I am a 63 year old post menopausal woman. I am 5'1 and weigh 161. I began with a nutritionist three weeks ago and began eating whole foods and planning my meals better. I have dropped to 158.
I had given up last year and just ate what I wanted. I am now pre-diabetic and taking metformin. My cholesterol numbers are bad. I am stiff and achy when I eat poorly.
The idea of taking this medication has given me hope to get to my goal of 130. I know it doesn't seem like much, but I want more energy and better health.
Thanks for listening.
