I was wondering if anyone here has gone through a similar situation I will be going through this year and has any advice.
Canadian born/educated nurses. Passed NCLEX, have done my VisaScreen through CGFNS and have been working as a travel nurse in California for the last 4 years on a TN Visa/Status. Have a current state license. Easy peasy, straightforward.
Getting married this year to a US Citizen and will eventually have my green card and continue to work in California as a staff nurse.
Is there anything I need to do in terms of credentialling with the California BON or continuing to renew my VisaScreen every 5 years. Or once I have my Green Card am I fine. I feel like I would still need to do something since I have foreign education.
