I am a DRP 2.0 retiree who submitted my retirement paperwork spring 2025 for a retirement date of 12/31/2025.

In the fall during open season I switched healthcare plans.

I did not communicate to my agency's retirement contacts that I changed healthcare plans.

I received a letter recently regarding an annuity adjustment and discovered that my annuity is withholding for the old insurance, not the new one.

I spoke to OPM retirement this morning and they said I need to send paperwork to prove I switched during open season. I do have a document dated in November from the old health insurance I left, and I do have insurance cards and a welcome letter from the new of health insurance, but that welcome letter isn't dated.

I will send those in, but has anyone been in the same situation and can predict what may happen next? Eeeks.

In order to stay on the right side of the warranty, I understand it's critical to do the oil changes and scheduled maintenance as dictated by Kia's schedule.

If I have the work done by companies other than a Kia dealership is that an issue long-term?

This is my first new car under warranty.
