Accessing Saves

Hi everyone, I recently installed Stardew Valley on my Bazzite install and then used Jackify (Wabbajack in Linux) to install The Bustling Valley modlist. I have everything working finally except it shows no saved games found. I see my saves in the normal expected location for Linux installs and see them when I run un-modded Stardew Valley (all are managed via Steam cloud).

Does anyone have experience/know how to get the modded install to see my save files?

Edit: I’ve tried to update the save file argument from %appdata%\StardewValley\Saves to ~/.var/app/com.valvesoftware.Steam/.config/StardewValley/Saves in Mod Organizer 2 based on link below but haven’t been successful.

I’ve seen a lot of posts lately around Watchtower (with a lot of different perspectives, which is awesome!). I’m a big fan of the mod but would agree with some of the comments that it takes over, doesn’t quite fit with RP sometimes when you are doing NG+ play throughs.

I saw several comments about mods existing for delaying it but I didn’t see any in the Creation Club (CC) and am trying to be remain in this space for mods and also be Achievement Friendly (AF).

Is there one that is on CC and AF that I am missing? I would love to be able to have something like this while keeping all mods installed from CC and being AF.

I’m not sure if this is the right place or not but I did not see any dedicated Jackify subreddit. I recently moved from Windows to Bazzite and am trying to install the Bustling Valley modlist for Stardew Valley. After the installation process completes, everything looks good. Folders exist, populated with expected files, etc. but when I go to launch MO2, I get the following error:

Cannot open instance ‘Portable’, the game directory ‘Z:\var\home\<username>\.local\share\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley’ doesn’t exist or the game plugin ‘Stardew Valley’ doesn’t recognize it. Select the game managed by this instance.

I believe this path is correct but am not overly experienced with modlists in Linux. I’ve tried deleting the webcache folder and portable.txt files but same error remains. The paths in the INI file points at the exe in the path above and it’s present but am wondering because Stardew Valley is Linux native if it needs to be changed.

If anyone has any experience, suggestions, or ideas, very interested to hear it!

Edit: Forgot to note I am adding to Steam and then launching the app. I’ve tried Proton 9, Proton Experimental, and ProtonGE-10.4 under compatibility but still now dice.
