Beyond stuck on a boy’s name.

We’ve had our boy middle name picked out for all of our pregnancies but the first name has changed each time.

Middle name would be Cortez. It flows so nicely in the middle spot with our last name following it (4 syllables), and a 1-2 syllable first name.

We’re a Spanish/English speaking family and current children are Jade and Sadie. If this baby is a girl, we’ve picked the name Naya. We don’t want them to share a name with anyone in our close circle and just feel like boy names either lean too far in one language/culture’s direction or just don’t feel like the one!

Names we like or have considered but either can’t use or we don’t agree on: Liam, Luan, Leon, Liam (I wish it sounded like the English pronunciation of Leon in English as well as Spanish!), Luca/Lucas/Lukas, Mateo, Elias, Quentin, Ivan, Warren, Santiago, Nolan, Abel, Adiel, Milo, most names ending in O or LO (lots of friends with names like that and it feels too matchy/tongue twistery to add in another similar name we will often be rambling off).

We’re desperate at this point and feel like we’ve considered every name on the planet! I’m 36 weeks and we all think this baby is a boy! We’d like a name that feels solid or cool, and heard of but not common that our babe who has a unique condition will feel confident with. If anyone has suggestions, we’d appreciate it!
