help before starting with a grillz business
Hello everyone,
I’m from the Netherlands and I’m looking to seriously start my own grillz business. Before I start selling anything, I want to properly learn how to make them myself first. Right now I’m trying to learn as much as possible about the process, tools, suppliers, the business side, and the mistakes beginners usually make.
Some of my biggest questions are:
- How do grillz actually stay in your mouth without glue?
- Is it all about the mould/impression and fit?
- What tools/materials should I buy first to start practicing?
- What do you actually need as a beginner and what’s unnecessary?
- How did you learn moulds/impressions, sculpting, polishing, etc.?
- Did you learn from YouTube, practice, mentorships, or paid courses?
- Are grillz courses worth buying or are most of them a waste of money?
- What mistakes or pitfalls did you run into when starting out?
- What would you do differently if you had to start again?
- How did your business actually start in the beginning?
- Is it smart to start from home at first?
- How much startup money do you realistically need?
- How did you get your first customers?
- Did social media work better or word of mouth?
- Any tips on getting clients consistently?
- For suppliers: should I look in the Netherlands/Europe or overseas?
- Any suppliers you would personally recommend for materials/gold/silver?
I want to build this professionally and not do it halfway, so any advice or experiences would really help
