Howdy! I spotted what I believe is a family of PLOVERS in a mall parking lot in Pittsburgh! I was shocked! Mom and three chicks. I am scared for them though as they are in a BUSY parking lot with a small strip of land between the lot and a two lane, double-yellow road through the mall area.

Is this a call someone situation or is this normal(ish)? I’ve been in that lot nearly every weekend for 13 yrs and have NEVER seen one before.
