My personal Experiences of sleep paralysis
In total, I have had 3 accounts of sleep paralysis, all generally the same. For time, I couldn’t say what time of night specifically. The reason behind calling this sleep paralysis is the lack of motor function in this state of sleep-induced hallucinations. I lack the ability to open my eyes or move. I can hear and feel, but unfortunately cannot open my eyes or I’d have a better visual for you.
First Account: The Furry Entity
I was sleeping with my door shut, so no animals interrupted my sleep, but something else was — I just didn’t realize it.
I was laying on my stomach and felt a small weight that was breathing slowly at first, like a cat, but it grew larger, more dense, and started stretching the length of my body, enveloping me. A hum of a purr and a low-centered growl both occurred at random.
It wasn’t scary, at least not for me, but curious. It wasn’t hurting me, more like getting comfy.
When I woke up? Nothin’. Unfortunately, or it would have been a more interesting morning to say the least.
Second Account: The Tail
I went to sleep laying on my stomach yet again, alone, door closed, no critters with me, but this time was different. It felt weirder, like I had started growing a tail.
It was weird. It felt like when I moved, it grew out of my tailbone more, building more definition and mild warmth from what felt like fur.
When I woke up, it felt as though I still had a tail for the rest of the day, which was strange physiologically because it affected every movement I made. Then the next day, back to normal.
But if I focus, it feels like a phantom limb every once in a while, though less and less now.
Third Account: The Rest of Me
The last time, I was sleeping alone, door closed, no critters yet again, but on my back.
This time I felt the creature on my back again, but different because I was laying on my back, so instead it felt like from its weight I was sinking deeper into the mattress.
Then slowly it stretched across my body and started to merge, giving me the tail-like feeling yet again, along with claws, larger canine teeth, and a more animalistic physiology.
But once again, I woke up and felt no different than normal other than warmer, calmer, and tired as hell.
