Hard games don't exist for everyone
I'm so sick and tired of people saying that Silksong sucks because a boss is too hard or they spent too much time doing a hard challenge. It's a hard game! It's not for everyone, there's a level of skill required and if you don't have the skill or the willingness to get there then don't play. I understand that we want to make this game accessible as a community, and I agree with that sentiment. Hollow Knight is my first suggestion when someone asks what game I recommend, because I want them to experience how awesome it was for me. That said, I also think that no game is for everyone, and it's not Team Cherry's fault for designing a game that appeals to a certain audience. Nobody says the Dark Souls games are bad because they're too hard and they had to spend several weeks on a boss. There's an expectation of difficulty, and you can either not play or accept that you may not be able to finish. Silksong isn't nearly as hard as many other games are, but the mindset is the same. Games are fun, don't play if that's not your idea of fun.
On another similar note, 100 percenting a game can serve many purposes, and appeal to different types of players. Sometimes it's just more to do, giving players more game if they enjoyed the main story. Sometimes its about unlocking overpowered abilities that make the early game environment seem trivial. In a lot of games, it's a way of giving the people that beat the game normally a challenge. Hidden bosses, platforming challenges, games. I see all of Act 3 as unrequired. The whole thing is for people that enjoyed the first two acts and wanted to try an extra bit of world to challenge them. I get that players miss out on story if they're not skilled enough, but that's true for every game. If you really want the story, look up a cheese build or an explanation of lore. Silksong isn't a completely accessible game and it wasn't meant to be. That's okay. Games are meant to be fun, don't 100% it if thats not your idea of fun.
Edit: You guys are right, I guess I'm not "Sick and Tired of it." People are allowed to be frustrated and voice those frustrations. I guess It's just somewhat annoying when people make remarks about the quality of something I love when the reasoning of these remarks seems so immature to me. Sick and tired is an exaggeration, and I should try to let the complaints affect me as little as possible rather than be annoying by what random people say.
A bunch of people also said there should be some sort of adjustable difficulty. I honestly think Team Cherry just wasn't prioritizing difficulty settings when there was so much content that they were having fun adding. They've openly stated that they could have been working on it for a lot more time, and only stopped because the fan base wanted it so bad. Not sure I agree with the perspective that making the game should be fun more so than about the highest quality product possible, nor with the possible perspective that story SHOULD be skill locked, but they are both valid ways of seeing game making despite how frustrating they are.
Edit 2: I keep seeing comments saying "people are allowed to dislike it, there are plenty of bad things and opinions are valid. I don't think I communicated properly. I think it is 100% fair to complain, not like the decision, criticize the game, and be unhappy. You're allowed to dislike the game, and vent. I just don't like when people sat it's a bad game because of these choices. Design choices that you don't like don't directly correlate to a flaw in the game, and certainly don't make the thing as a whole bad
