Would you consider pumpkin head a slasher?
I’ve seen the movies and a good amount of its kills are him slashing people with its nails. It also hunts its victims kinda like other slashers.

The budget was 19 million and brought in 92 million. Sure the scores weren’t great but that doesn’t seem to deter these studios anymore from making garbage that gets a bad score **and** loses money. I actually enjoyed the 2009 movie I thought it was stupendous. Are slasher films just not deemed to be worth it anymore? God I would love for Friday the 13th to get the blumhouse treatment or something rather than the nothing we have had. Remember this movie is 3 years away from being 20 years old….
