Got the seller down to $800 USD for this HP Omen 35L (RTX 5070 / 8700F / 32GB). Originally wanted $1200 for the full setup but agreed on selling just the PC. My main use case is AAA gaming like expedition 33 and fps games like apex. Side use is coding/productivity but I have a MacBook for that anyway. I’m in no rush, just looking for a deal I can sit on for 3-4 years. Main concern is that I have a 4k/144hz VA monitor and the 5070 isn't top tier for 4K, but I’m not a pixel peeper. Can I realistically expect 100+ FPS in Apex/The Finals/GTA etc. if I use DLSS? Or does 4k not matter that much? I’m not sure because I haven’t owned a PC ever and this will be my first one. I do have some knowledge from watching tech videos and stuff but that’s about it. So, is this like a “buy it now” steal or should I keep waiting for something like a 7800X3D build to pop up? Seller seems legit and offered to let me test it on Monday.

Main purpose will be to play games (Apex, GTA, some AAA titles too) at 1440p or 4k. Secondary use case will be coding work, though I have a MacBook for anything heavy. I have a 4k/144hz monitor but obviously I can’t get a PC good enough for 4K gaming at this price range. The seller is willing to do $650 on this but I’m worried about future upgradability since it’s a mini-ITX build. There is only 2 ram slots, the cpu is kind of old, gpu space is pretty tight, and the power supply is pretty weak. Please let me know any suggestions.
