I was riveted from beginning to end the twists the turns. THE PREPOTENTE.
The character reunions (unions?) Samantha. The donutting. The sacrifices. The Louis.
I teared up at the end. I laughed out loud across the whole thing.
The book. The goddamn. Voodoo. Book.
Oh boy I cannot wait for tomorrow.

That last chapter (pre epilogue we'll get there calm down) was chaos.
I have so much to like in this book, the way it ramps up the ai imbalance, carl FINALLY getting it. The genuine risk to his and donuts well being, like I'm severely emotionally invested in every crawler. The overarching plot/stories going on. I'm in bits.
The whole tattoo reveal ugh.
Also the homecoming queen, nuff said. Holy shit.
Goddamnit - these books will break me.
