Hey,

I'm looking to buy a 2023/2024 PHEV Sorrento to run EV only on my short daily commute (Charger at work and at home).

The one thing I keep seeing is that if you accelerate 'too hard' the engine kicks in and you're using fuel instead of EV only.

Can anyone put a figure on at what point the engine kicks in in EV mode? Is it likely to happen during your normal daily commute if you're driving sensibly? Or only on occasion when you really put your foot down?

There's not much about it in any reviews I've found...
