How important is the first unit for officers?
Infantry-branching Cadet here. I’m wondering how much your first unit impacts your overall career. Does the quality of PL time vary significantly from unit to unit? Are some units known for having more/better professional development than others? I'm interested in going Special Operations down the line, are there any units that are best able to set me up for success? All opinions appreciated.
