As many others mentioned in the past, I purchased some supply drops many months ago and accepted the fact that it's a bug that will never get fixed and that I will never receive any of those supply drops. And I haven't purchased any since.
However, the other day I left the game (not quit it) and went to the Xbox home and started playing Fortnite. When I went back to AW I forgot that I never quit it, so it was in "Quick Resume" status. When I loaded into the matchmaking lobby, I saw that all the supply drops I purchased months ago were there!
I tested out if I can now purchase and immediately receive new advanced supply drops, so I purchased the cheapest one, and although it didn't show up right away, I backed out to the main menu then back to matchmaking and it was there!
I don't know if this is just a random coincidence but it's worth a try for those who have purchased supply drops in the past and have yet to receive them.
This is for the Xbox series X/S:
- Start up AW and load into the matchmaking lobby
- Play a match
- Once the match is done, don't ready up and go back to the pregame lobby
- Press the home button and go to the Xbox home
- Start up another game, play for a few
- Press the home button and quit that game until it brings to the Xbox home
- Go back to AW
- You will automatically be brought back to the menu screen
- Load into the match making lobby and hopefully this fixes the issue, and you are able to see those purchased supply drops
Just note that this isn't a guaranteed fix, but it's worth a try. This may be a coincidence and random to me.
