City carrier here on a park and loop route.

M41 says to knock and attempt to deliver parcels before leaving notice (unless they fit in mail box and unless marked "carrier leave if no answer").

M41 also says customer may provide written permission to leave parcels in a secured place.

My question is:

Is there an official form for this written permission or any rules regarding what that written permission has to be or cannot be?
