Is The Small Dick Convention happening in Scene 75's parking lot at Tuttle Mall or something?
All I hear is burn outs and vroom vrooms.
All I hear is burn outs and vroom vrooms.
Jw.
Listen, this is America. You can do what you want. But I think it's an absolute moronic idea, here's why:
1. Ramaswamy is running against 1 other legitimate candidate.
Heather Hill is technically on the ballot. But the Supreme Court has ruled that any votes cast for her will be thrown away.
That leaves Casey Putsch as the only other alternative to Vivek Ramaswamy. Casey Putsch is a literal Nazi that believes Hitler did good things. His campaign events have gained controversy for being Nazi dog whistles. His campaign events have been cancelled because he is an actual Nazi. And listen, maybe Nazism is cool with you, but maybe you're not cool with racism, Casey still isn't your guy.
Me personally? I believe that anyone who votes for a Nazi is a Nazi. BuT yOu'Re pLaYiNg 4-D cHeSs. It'S Ok tO bE a NaZi iF tHe cHeSs bOaRd iS 4-D.*
*Edited in the italics and sarcastic uppers and lowers
2. Amy Acton is performing better in polling against Ramaswamy than any Democratic candidate has done in modern history.
Why would you risk putting a relatively unknown candidate against Acton? Acton is running a campaign that is in a dead heat with Ramaswamy. This is a major win.
And you're thinking about replacing Ramaswamy who is an Indian, Hindu, and billionaire with a white guy? I don't know if you've been paying attention, but Republicans don't like minorities, non-Christians, or (allegedly) billionaires.
3. Ramaswamy is only the MAGA candidate if he wins the primary.
Trump wasn't endorsed by the Republican party when he first ran. Now he is the party.
The Republican party won't see a Nazi win their primary and decide they won't endorse him, on principles. In fact, they'll probably slap a swatstika on their elephant and call you an idiot for not knowing that they've always been the Nazi party.
4. Putsch isn't MAGA. He's worse.
I have already covered this. But I've heard and seen too many people saying that they're voting for the non-MAGA candidates. Most Republicans that are running on not being MAGA believe that the MAGA movement doesn't go far enough.
5. Registering as a Democrat helps Amy Acton in the general election.
The more registered Democrats there are in the state is directly linked to how much funding Amy Acton will be able to get.
If more people cast a Democratic primary ballot than cast a Republican primary ballot, then Ohio will be discussed as a literal contender for flipping blue.
Every Democratic ballot that gets us closer to that, will help.
The more we are considered as a "possible flip" the more funding Amy Acton gets.
5.5 PAC money is determined by votes. If you don’t vote for your candidate they will not get money.
I mostly covered this in the previous point, but u/ilovescrubjays said it more succinctly and included more specifics. So I decided to plagiarize the fuck outta them.
6. There are legitimately shitty candidates running in the Democratic primary.
Including candidates that are actual Republicans, that realized in order to win in the cities, they need to run as a Democrat.
You can keep them out.
You can also support the candidates down ballot that are not endorsed by the Democratic Party. You can vote for real progressives that will make real changes. But only if they win the primaries, and then the generals.
Tl;dr: Deciding to cosplay a Nazi for the day (by voting for Nazi Putsch) won't help Amy Acton or Ohio win. It will just make you a Nazi.
u/seebs9 did a good job re-framing what will soon be another Faux News story using Ohio as propaganda against immigrants.
Seebs9 is right, that there was an employer that didn't do their due diligence and have proper training to ensure that this type of tragedy doesn't occur in our community.
Is there an opportunity to boycott businesses that contract deliveries through the services that exploit immigrants?
If we raise the standards of how we want our community treated, then we can make it so that the companies that are ethically hiring immigrants and treating them as the people they are, are able to compete at a much more level playing field as the companies that are unethical in their hiring practices.
I'm sure there are local businesses that contract deliveries through these types of companies, that would feel compelled to protect their community by not hiring trucking companies that aren't properly training their employees.
And it's tough to gain a crowd, when your rally is at a secret location.
edit: This post may not be able to stay up for long. Reddit gave warning that it's harassment, but observing a public rally hosted by a public figure running for governor is not harassment. Had to make sure to clarify that we're just looking to party!
Tonight is Gubernatorial candidate and public figure Casey Putsch's secret location rally, they'll be leaving from Goodale Park at 6:30PM caravanning to a secret location. We OBVIOUSLY want to support politicians so we're inviting you to join in!
We're looking for at least one person to "enthusiastically join" the caravan to the secret location and preferably film the "amazing community gathering" with Nazi Casey and his Nazi friends as they enter whatever business is hosting them.
If you're available tonight, we can use your help! Feel free to comment below or send me a message.
We started this sub on Monday (April 13, 2026) in response to yet another business accepting Republican money - in this case, the business was unwittingly hosting a legitimate Neo-Nazi Gubernatorial candidate for the Republican party.
To future targeted businesses: We want to see you succeed. We just don't want to see racism, bigotry, homophobia, etc. in our favorite third spaces. We are holding you, the business, to a higher standard because you are a member of our community. With every campaign, we are intentional about trying to build an off-ramp for you in our initial demands, if you aren't seeing what the off-ramp is, please ask.
Here are our victories, it will be updated as we get them.
-La Chatelaine accidentally allowed a Neo-Nazi to host an event at their location. The event was set for 4/17, we started a campaign and a sub-reddit on 4/13. We spent 2 days of our campaign writing messages to the business. At the beginning of the 3rd day, we started calling. By mid-morning of day 3, La Chatelaine officially cancelled their event and posted what appears to be their most successful Facebook post ever. As of 20 hours after their post they have 6.4k reacts (16 are negative, the rest are likes, hearts, and cares). They have 496 comments (I've read every comment, there are under 10 negative comments). And amazingly they have an unheard of amount of shares: 418. This is an ungodly amount of visibility for a business that ONLY has 5.4k likes/followers. This post can be found here. In addition, they have hit most every local news publication: Fox8, WOSU, NBC4, Signal Ohio, and more. We also have hit National news.
We are not here to correct any record. We let La Chatelaine know that we wouldn't be their customers if they didn't cancel the event and explained why. they cancelled it based on the new information they had, and posted an apology that was genuine and truthful. They earned every bit of this media attention. And we are happy for them, we are pretty sure it's going to be a really good weekend for them, and hopeful that the bump will continue to surge.
-Since the creation of this sub, 3 days ago, we have amassed over 200 members. This represents a group of highly motivated individuals that send notes
That's all for now. This is a pinned post and will be updated with every victory!
Great mobilization everybody! This is making a much bigger difference than just getting an event cancelled. This is sending a message to every business in Columbus.
We are so appreciative of La Chatelaine doing the right thing too!
Let's knock fascism out of another business next week!
Thank you everyone for reaching out to La Chatelaine and voicing your concerns!
Thank you La Chatelaine for not only listening to the community, but taking swift and decisive action.
The post can be found here from La Chatelaine!
Please support La Chatelaine this week at any location, and thank their staff for cancelling the event! If you can't make it in this week, please consider sending them a message to thank them!
I strongly recommend their Sweet and Salty breakfast, it gives a nice taste of their basics. The lunch deal is a great deal too, but I really like some of their special sandwiches, so I'll add fries to those sometimes. Their eggs Benedict is killer! And I've heard great things about their chocolate croissant, but have never actually made it to their pastry case, the regular food is too fire.
edit/update: La Chatelaine has officially cancelled, make sure to get some delicious breakfast, brunch, or lunch from any of their locations this week! While you're in, please thank the staff for doing the right thing. If you can't make it in this week, please message them or call them during less busy hours (not during lunch rush)
If you are unaware of La Chatelaine inviting a Neo-Nazi in their space, here is a post. You can also use this post to message Le Chatelaine.
But, we want to make sure the staff and management is aware. Please call and be respectful. Ask to speak to a manager.
If no manager is available, ask to relay the message, "please cancel the event in Dublin this Friday with Neo-Nazi, Casey Putsch"
If you get the manager, remain calm, and iask if they are aware of the Dublin location hosting Casey Putsch this Friday night, if not, inform them.
Then ask if they are aware that Casey Putsch is Neo-Nazi.
Let the conversation go from there. Remain calm and respectful, but make sure that they understand that if this event is not cancelled that you will no longer be a customer.

I think it needs a logo and a banner. Maybe post your design ideas here, top voted comment will be the winner (barring it's on brand)

Hi! I created this sub-reddit because I'm frustrated continuously seeing businesses supporting or accepting money from dangerous far-right organizations without much consequence.
The goal of this sub is to build a community that actively supports businesses that are inclusive of all, and actively protests and boycotts businesses that support far-right ideology.
What businesses are we targeting?
We are targeting local businesses. Why?
What counts as supporting far-rights ideologies?
The goal of this sub-reddit is to make it difficult for far-right extremist organizations to spend their dollar, and to make the consequences of supporting far-right organizations outweigh the bump businesses get for supporting them.
We believe that a business renting their space out to a far-right organization is unacceptable, as it is providing a platform to far-right ideology.
We believe that accepting Republican money is accepting blood money, and we don't want blood money in our community.
When a business is providing a service to a far-right organization, they are supporting far-right ideologies.
How are we protesting?
With our wallets, and our time.
When we see a business supporting far-right ideologies, our goal is to give the benefit of the doubt. It is possible that a business does not realize who they are supporting, why it's harmful, or which of their customers they stand to lose.
As an example: La Chatelaine is hosting an event for far-right politician, Casey Putsch. It is possible that they did not realize who Casey was when the event was booked, it's possible that they didn't even know that it was a political event.
The event is in 4 days. That means, we have 4 days to write to them, make them aware of the person they are supporting, and ask them to cancel the event. We believe that La Chatelaine is reasonable and believes in Democracy, after all, they observe French/USA D-Day, every year. We know that they oppose fascism.
If they cancel this event, then we continue to support them. If they don't, we boycott them.
Businesses rarely get direct feedback as to why they're losing customers. We need to be direct with our communication so that there is no question as to why they've lost their business.
We're open to other forms of protest, but the general idea is to give an opportunity to course correct. If we don't provide that off-ramp, then it becomes in the business's best interest to double down on far-right extremism.
How are we supporting inclusive businesses?
With our wallets. We welcome posts supporting these businesses and advertising them. Eventually we may look to create a list or otherwise find ways to promote them. And we're more than happy to pass this off to a motivated community member.
HOWEVER, due to the risk, and organizing of the far right, there are inclusive businesses that do not want to market that they are inclusive. It sucks. But we're going to be strict on what we allow posted. If a business makes a PRIVATE donation to a Pride organization, then we're not going to allow that to be shared. We are only sharing PUBLIC inclusive actions.
What should I post?
We recommend posting about businesses supporting far-right ideology with easy and actionable protest suggestions.
Using La Chatelaine as an example, a post might look something like this:
Image of event clearly showing why a protest is needed.
Post title: La Chatelaine is hosting Republican gubernatorial candidate Casey Putsch.

This is a new sub-reddit.
I don't really want to be doing it, or even thinking about politics on a daily basis, but the reality of our situation is that we kinda have to be aware and thinking about it daily.
I don't have all the answers. And I certainly can't grow this movement on my own. If you have the spoons to help, I'd gladly take them. Please don't hesitate to contribute, even if you think it might not be the direction we're taking: it can be the direction we take.
