Them making a mess on people's driveways and lawns sure that's definitely the contractors and I believe always the company that hires them.

Them accidentally cutting into the Rogers cable lines is definitely not their fault and this is why.

There's a digs/locate system that you must submit to every time you want to dig in an area.

Rogers has chosen as well as Bell Canada not to do locates from the street to the houses etc. They didn't want to pay for the extra cost they didn't want to send somebody out to all the houses. So if you notice most places where they do get spray painted they were the main lines but they weren't all the lines.

Because of this when Telmax contractors are out there working they can't just go beyond super slow they're pretty careful they're even trying to follow roughly where the Rogers cables are and Even lay their cable over top of it so that way they're a bit more protected and less chance of the two cables getting damaged. But the point is they have to work out a moderate pace and accidents do happen.

Now when they do accidentally break a cable it's not their fault to repair it and fix it That would be Rogers's fault. And then there's people who think that Telmax should be responsible for the downtime of their Rogers internet. No once again that would be Rogers they didn't pay for somebody to go out there and do their job.

This has been the status quo forever and I just wanted to like educate people that yes you can blame Telmax for making our properties look like s*** and making the city look like a mess but we can't blame them for everything.

Hi there I live on cundles and they're digging up our driveway and bringing in the fiber to the homes that looks like maybe today or the next day.

How long did it take for them to actually activate and get it ready so you can get service to your house once they were actually doing the to the house installations?

So this is just making my life a little easier It's just all the monitors are on a power bar so I just click a button that's really accessible. I've been doing this for many years. Either way I know it's not that that caused the issue but when I woke up this morning my numb lock was frozen I'm pretty sure it was frozen before I even got the monitors on so I doubt it's really at the fall of the monitors but I don't have sleep mode on it does turn off the display after 30 minutes and goes to login screen.

But I'm wondering if something would trigger a freeze I've been using Windows on the system for many years without any freezes ever so this is something new.

Just wondering if it's like a power problem or something that you know I have to set so I don't get a computer that freezes again.

I've been using it for days without freezing but last night it definitely froze.

The only thing I would require is the best stability when it comes to that type of thing I don't want an entire OS freezing or I'd go back to Windows as my reason I left it was instability especially with Explorer.
