Manchester was incredible.
I feel like I just need to express how good last night was. From start to finish it was an amazing experience apart from the lockers being broken for a good 15 minutes pushing people further down the queue if they payed for a locker.
But I’m glad the lockers were broken because I wouldn’t have met the 6 lovely strangers that I spent time and had a laugh with!! It was a beautiful bitter sweet moment, I had spent a good 2 hours queuing and talking with a girl called Carla, we got separated a couple of times due to going to the toilet/bar and managed to find each other each time.
Towards the end of the show I was thinking I should ask for her IG, it just felt right.
As it ended I was so overstimulated, my voice was gone I had such bad dry mouth, as she found me a row or 2 back, she told me she was staying back I presume to get some confetti and let the crowds decongest, I just simply said “my voice is fucked, it was lovely to meet you and abruptly left.
For the next few minute I was thinking “just go back and talk to her, it’s not too late”. I waited outside the arena hoping to bump into her again, we never found each other after that.
For the next few hours I was kicking myself for it.
Such an amazing performance. Such an amazing crowd. Such a bitter sweet ending. A night that sounds and feels like it’s right out of a tame impala song.
A night I’ll remember forever.
