Poor Autoglym foam cannon performance on Karcher K3 after upgrading the hose and lance

I was previously using the stock Karcher K3 lance etc with this Autoglym foam cannon. Worked absolutely fine.

Today, I set up using a better hose from the K3 to the SGS35 stubby gun I bought. I quick connected to the same foam cannon and it just shoots out the foam straight in aggressive blobs. No amount of tweaking the nozzles improved it. I went back to the K3 lance setup (but still using the upgraded hose) and same problem.

AI is suggesting the 1.2mm orifice on the foam cannon may be to blame and I'd need a 1.1mm instead. Can anyone please confirm this or suggest how to fix?

Hi all

I'm new to all this and Amazon is bamboozling me with hundreds of options for a replacement hose between the main unit and gun.

I want a 10m hose that's soft, probably rubber, but compatible and durable. The one that comes with the unit is atrocious and constantly snaps into twisted contortions that I can no longer put up with.

I just wash the car every couple of weeks so don't need anything too pricey, but is there something under £30 that would be suitable please?
