







A day trip to the Temple of Hatshepsut in Egypt felt less like visiting a monument… and more like stepping into a story someone once tried to erase.
Not many people know this but Hatshepsut wasn’t just a queen. She declared herself Pharaoh in a world ruled almost entirely by men. After her death, many of her images and names were erased from monuments. Almost like someone tried to write her out of history.
And yet… thousands of years later, here we are still talking about her
