I got this little guy a week or so ago and so far I think he’s adjusting fairly well. It took him about 6 days to eat and actually come out of the hiding spots. It’s a little bit of a learning curve because I’ve only kept cresteds and they were pretty out going. His tank is half bioactive and half fake (not a green thumb). I’ll continue to add much more foliage over time but he loves this little branch so far.
I ended up naming him Tully.
I don’t know if this is an issue that I caused but I paid half my car payment for May (due on the 6th) on April 15th and I went to pay the rest today and it still says I owe the full amount?? I’m not too sure what I should do. I always pay on time and in half increments so it shouldn’t be the full amount still.
I’ve kept cresteds in the past but this is my first gargoyle and I spent a lot of time preparing and trying to get everything right. Below is a picture of my current set up. It’s a 29 gallon converted. UVB is provided along with a small heat lamp when it gets cold.
I got the gecko yesterday and I know it will take a few weeks for it to settle in. I haven’t been able to spot him since yesterday morning lol. I’m also aware that they may not eat for a little while but I’ll keep a look out for any activity.
Is there anything else I should know? More clutter?
