How much to dca

Late 40s, not much of an investor beside tbills, oa ipl.
We are the typical lower middle income family of 4 (two schooling kids) , living day by day through paycheck but comfortably ( occasion din at restuarants, yearly trip overseas, monthly gym memberships, kids tuitions).

I have cash buffer of 5 year worth of expenses and extra $150k cash which i am looking to start dca monthly. Currently unemployed as taking a short break ,evaluating between using skillfuture training allowance to study or work part time.
With a health condition which is currently in remission, my aim is to ensure that my family is covered for in the coming years ( my spouse prefer that i take on the planning as he doesn’t have a knack for finance related stuff).

My plan (abit late but better than never):

  1. Looking to dca monthly using moomoo or endowus with the exra funds. Should i start with $500 monthly for a year and slowly increase since i have no monthly income?
  2. Should i diversify to divided local stock like dbs from that pool?
  3. Since i have no intention to move (hdb is fully paid),
should i use 50% of my oa (ard 200k) to invest in amundi as i have stopped tbill given the low rate.
4.Possibly another lump sum of cash (few hundred k) in few months time for me and my kids from my late parents which i would like to grow instead of sitting in the bank. I am not much of a spender (ocassion spurge on nice food and shopping) but no big ticket items like car (have one) or property. Maybe to grow the funds for my kids overseas education if needed.
  4. How to hedge inflation on my kids portion (ard 100k each) till their legal age in 5-10yrs time?

My Risk appetite: 20%? But as i am not sure if i will be around long enough to ensure my kids are taken care of till legal age (at the same time make sure they grew up sensibly and not spoilt if they knew they have a pile of cash). How should i plan my funds?

I will not entertain DM so all advise through comments. No IA or FA as i have my personal agent for the family.
