Not sure where to ask this but how safe is it for a tourist on a tourist visa to visit the United States right now? My partner has no criminal background and we plan to bring all her documents plus our lease agreement from Brazil as well as pay deposits from her job etc. just to be extra careful. We plan to buy a bus ticket to Canada for onward travel as well. My concern is that because she visits often about every 6 months or so since we started dating in 2024- that it might look suspicious especially being from Brazil and the trump admin becoming more strict. Her last visit to the states she ended up in the hospital for about 3 months as well which made her almost stay past her date to leave but we made it back to Brazil a few days before. I really need to go home for a while and she usually comes with me but I’m just scared. Sorry if this is not an appropriate place to ask.
