I have been trying to get a swe internship for the past 2 months but nothing has quite worked. I have had my school's career center help tailor my resume and I've also gone to my school's networking events and cold/warm emailed 50+ people as well as applied to over 100 places without a cold email. Trying to see what I can do in order to get a internship this summer.
