So I am not an Amazon driver, but I want your guys input on this so I can make it best for everyone. So my yard is fully fenced in all the way to the street. The entrance to my house and mailboxes require entering the gate and walking in about 20-30 feet.

I have a dog, who has always been very sweet. Never had an issue, in fact, she used to play with delivery drivers. However, we recently had a baby and ever since the baby came she is not a fan of anyone unknown in her yard. This obviously makes deliveries very challenging.

Since noticing this, I have been super attentive to the gate and have even made a sign saying the dog is outside, do not enter and just leave the package there. I put it up when I know a delivery is coming and I have her outside. However, I have stopped a handful of delivery drivers while they were opening the gate despite the sign saying to leave it there (the sign was out over the gate handle so not seeing it isn’t really possible).

With the summer months coming I am concerned because obviously we will be outside much more and doing things like yard work pulls my attention from the gate. My question is, what types of things have you guys seen that works well? And what should I avoid?
