I bought EA FC 24 on PC as my first FC/FIFA game on this platform, skipped FC 25, and came back for EA FC 26 expecting the PC version to be in a better state by now
These are the most consistent problems I’ve seen so far:
1. “Press any key” screen can force keyboard as the default input
If you press a key on the initial “Press any key” landing screen, online game modes seem to treat the keyboard as the default input device.
This happens even if you navigate the rest of the menus using a controller.
Workaround: Restart the game and never touch your keyboard or mouse.
2. EA App achievements not unlocking
A lot of achievements on the EA App simply don’t unlock, even when the requirements are clearly met.
Easiest examples to test:
- Roles++ in Starting 11
- Powershot
3. FC Seasons / Seasonal Track UI disappears and soft-locks navigation
In FC Seasons → Seasonal Track, the UI can randomly disappear.
The game still shows the background stadium and some top navigation labels, but the actual menu content is gone. You’re basically stuck and need to restart.
4. Rush lobby soft-lock after teammate disconnects
In Rush, if a teammate disconnects before the lobby is fully created and you immediately search for a new lobby, the game can get stuck.
It feels like a soft-lock where you can’t properly continue without restarting the game.
5. Camera settings randomly changing
Camera settings randomly change every few games.
6. Club item search returns no results before matchmaking
Another consistent issue happens when selecting a game mode and editing your squad before you enter matchmaking.
If you search for club items from that prematch squad editing screen, the search can return no results, even when you definitely own the correct cards/items.

Honestly, I’m surprised this game was released like this at all. Some of these issues are so basic and so easy to reproduce that it’s hard to understand how they got past any certification or QA process.
