Looking to multiclass with a homebrew ranger called the green reaper, a subclass focused on poisonous smites. My party needed a front liner, so ive been playing them as a foresty paladin with a shield and spear. Right now im considering swapping to twilight Cleric past level 5 for more spell slots and higher utility, or going eldritch knight fighter for 3 levels to get the shield spell, and action surge. Would love to hear thoughts on these options or better alternatives ive yet to consider.
