Information security practices

I been reading some stuff about information security... This refers to basically whatever that protects your files/data from unauthorized hands..

There was this funny term i seen people list on forums and subreddits - CIA. It means: Confidentiality(only those who must see will see); Integrity(information is accurate, complete and untampered); Availability(making sure systems running in order). So... C.I.A. !

Flashy naming convention to help me remember it, yet are these three core principles truly the main things to look out for in my own security?

Otherwise, I'd love to hear any discussions, or maybe even philosophies you follow when handing your own data security and integrity... I am starting to seek more control of my apps and accounts, though so far trying to somehow digest all of the important stuff that matters, so I could ignore aspects of privacy that are less important. Not sure if I can tell what matters yet..😅
