Hi!

I’m looking for affordable acting, singing, or theatre programs for my 7-year-old in the East Bay (Alameda/Oakland/Berkeley area).

We already frequent the Berkeley theatre, but their classes are too early and I don’t have transportation for a 7-year-old during those after-school hours.

I’m specifically looking for:

Classes after 5pm or Saturday/weekend programs

Acting, musical theatre, or singing programs

Beginner-friendly (age 7–8)

Affordable/community-based options

If anyone knows of anything in the East Bay that fits this schedule, I’d really appreciate i

I’m trying to understand how this is supposed to work because I’m getting no answers.

I had an iron infusion appointment scheduled after waiting about 1.5 months. The appointment was canceled about an hour before I was supposed to go in. I was told I would receive a call back within about 2 hours to reschedule since they didn’t have anything available at that moment.

That call never came.

Since then (04/22)

I’ve tried calling multiple times

I’ve left voicemails (Oakland, Vallejo, Vacaville infusion departments)

I was told voicemail isn’t even accepting messages right now

I spoke with an advice nurse who said she left a voicemail for the manager

I filed a grievance 5 days ago and still have not received a response

I was also told to contact a case manager who has 48 hours to return calls, but I still haven’t heard back.

At this point, I’m just trying to understand how an infusion appointment can be canceled and then not rescheduled or followed up on at all, especially when it’s medically necessary. I just need to speak to a human who can actually resolve this.

If anyone knows the correct escalation path inside Kaiser, I’d really appreciate it.
