It looks BALLER: amenities include an athlete-designed gym and performance lab, golf simulator, and studios for recording podcasts, TV, etc. There’s also a rooftop restaurant and bar run by the Holbrook House folks, which I assume will be open to outside guests. (This link has more jazzy visuals and details than the website—I would definitely come in early and stay late.)

It tracks that SF would be the spot to debut high-end workplace concepts—especially post- “doom loop”—as downtown properties sell for a song and investors can put more money into the building.

NYT covered the “hotelification” of the workplace last year. The story referenced “live, work, thrive” campus Habitat in LA, CHI’s The Mart, and Springline in Menlo—same developer as The Spear.

So is The Spear really THE model new workplace for North America?  Anyone have thoughts on how this jibes with FiDi’s comeback?

(Disclaimer: I’m not affiliated with the developer in any way. I sometimes write about architecture, design, and properties, but I’m not covering this building.)
