I'm brand new to AOS, traded some MTG cards for this Skaventide box, but I don't know if it's enough to get started.

I understand there is the normal AOS wargame, but also a small skirmish mode?
Is that different than Spearhead?

What do most people play?

Is this box worth it as a jumping off point or should I use it to try to get other stuff?
