My best friend is currently doing her master’s in Germany. She’s sharing an apartment with another mutual classmate. Back in college, this girl used to be very introverted — quiet, almost lifeless. But now, she’s a completely different person.
Towards the end of college, she got into a relationship with a senior (who was also our elected college chairman). From what I understand, he probably fell for her thinking she was “wife material” with traditional values. It’s been around 5 years now, and he’s seriously considering marriage (I know this through a friend in his circle).
Here’s the twist — she has apparently been two-timing him for the past 2–3 years. My friend found out after noticing a guy frequently sneaking out of her room.
And that’s not all. Her family has now started looking for a groom for her and has been setting her up with potential matches in Germany. She’s completely on board with it — goes on dates, meets these guys, and recently has even started bringing them home. Some of them stay with her for a week or two to “get to know each other.”
