Paula’s goals are rather interesting
-ride horses but whip them badly
-live in a big house
-destroy Miriam’s life
*threatens to hit Agnes*
*continually threaten to hit Agnes again*
-marry off of Agnes to a commander and get rid of her for good, but it will destroy her life
-destroy whatever is left of your husband’s soul
-order around Marthas and occasionally suggest you’ll have one of them murdered if they are sick
-ride horses *and* still whip them badly.
-demand a handmaid because you want a baby without any of the effort.
-and you are not even going to like the baby. You hate babies.
-probably murdered your first husband.
At this point, we want Serena back.
At least with Serena, I knew her motives. (“My baby!”)
Paula is…something else.
