My baby’s 14th birthday was on Friday. We had a big celebration and he’s been getting daily birthday treats every day since.

I know it’s his last birthday we will get to celebrate. His arthritis is bad and getting worse. Librela and Gabapentin have been helping but his bad days are getting more frequent. He has hardly even been able to stand today. He had such a good week though! He was able to go on walks 4 days in a row. Then he has days out of nowhere that he collapses and can’t get up or walk. I start trying to decide about end of life care but then the next day he’s okay again. How am I supposed to know when it’s time?
