First time going to Paris ,how much should I actually plan?

I am currently planning my first trip to Paris and I think I might be overthinking everything. Every blog and travel video makes it seem like you need a perfectly optimized itinerary or you are doing the trip wrong. Right now I have a list of major places I would like to see, but part of me wonders if I should stop planning so tightly and just leave space to wander, sit at cafés, and explore without rushing. For those who’ve been before ,what made your trip memorable? Was it hitting all the famous spots, or the random moments you didn’t plan? Trying to find the balance between being prepared and actually enjoying the experience.
