I have been working with my voice teacher on mixed voice. Just want to know if this is a type of mix or is mixed voice. Mixed voice is described as a even mix between both. I mainly felt the sound in the nose but it eventually moved up in the head. It sounded like a mix between both.

I have worked on mixed voice with my singing teacher, and I have noticed that my mixed voice sounds good like I’m getting there. I want my voice to be unique, but I also want my mixed voice to sound similar to the singers I’m listening to. I noticed my mixed voice is rather dull and not as resonant compared to other singers singing a cover on defying gravity. What are they doing that I’m not doing?
