
Confusion on small signal analysis of class AB amplifier
Hi all, so I am trying to understand class AB aplifiers and think i have a decent understanding and made a circuit, howeber this was based on videos and a conceptual understanding and now I am trying to put the maths and analyse its small signal characteristics so I can fully understand its behaviour, but the theoretical results I am seeing are not matching what I have simulated.
Here is the spice model I made, basically want to drive max 0.5W into the 8 ohm speakers, when I run this i have a default bias of 2mA oof collecter current, I use this value to get the rpi, gm values. this gives me these values for transconductance gain and voltage gain which are nowhere near what I am seeing with a iout/vin = 0.1 for normal operation. idk where I am going wrong here or if I have like a fundamental misunderstanding any help would be appreciated.
