Hey Uiuc housing subreddit!

I’m an engineering mechanics freshman (going to be a sophomore next semester) looking for a male roommate for the next fall semester. I’m planning to rent a two bedroom apartment near ISR for the price of 1020$/month (510 per person) for fall 2026. Something about me: I usually clean my room once in a week/2 weeks, I go to gym 1 or 2 times a week, I don’t host parties (at all), I have no pets.

Some of the preferences for a roommate from my side:

- Keeps their room reasonably clean themselves, willing to sometimes clean the shared areas such as living room together.

- Usually goes to bed in the 10pm - 2am time period

- Doesn’t host parties often
