TW Blood. Questions/ little rant: (26f) I’ve had flares for around 9 years now mostly in my groin/ armpits, but right now I only have one right near my a**hole. I officially got diagnosed two weeks ago and I’m on doxy, prednisone, rifampin but the current flare I have hasn’t stopped bleeding in about five days. I’m a teacher and I’ve called off now three times in two weeks to 1. See a dr and 2. Sit with gauze on it because it also hurts like a mf. I only have the one flare and I feel guilty calling out of work like this. Should I just be taping it up and going or is am I valid in calling out?
I’m also going back to the dr today because the doxy is making me violently nauseous. No one in my personal life has or understands what this is and I’m feeling a little defeated.
