Screen time apps punish you for scrolling. I built one that rewards you for focusing. Looking for feedback on my first iOS app.
"ByTime: Time Hub" is live on the App Store. It's not a detox app, not a blocker. You focus, you earn screen time, you spend it on whatever you want guilt-free. It's all about balance.
The part that's actually different:
Every screen time app on the market has an option that says "Unlock for 5 minutes" and it locks after 5 minutes regardless of you using or not using the app. Not having a proper blocking mechanism. In ByTime, earned time doesn't expire on the clock. Use 1 minute of your 5, the other 4 sit in your backlog. Come back an hour later and spend them. Your time, your pace.
Blocked apps stay locked until you earn it. No shortcuts. Work 6 hours straight, earn the time, watch Netflix for 4 hours without the guilt. What you spend is a direct reflection of what you put in.
It also tracks your full day, what you did and when, so you can see how you actually spent your time, not just how long you were on your phone.
Built this solo. First iOS app.

If you try it, tell me what broke, what confused you, or what you'd add. Honest feedback please.
