Can some tell if staff engineers have moved to USA (internal transfer) in L1A visa? Or some other visa?
And how was the experience like?

Edit: Since there’s been a lot of replies and engagement, I thought I’d add the actual numbers so this stays useful for the community (and I can get better inputs).

I’m trying to decide between two offers and could use some help.

**Option 1: Tesla – Staff Engineer**

* €138,000 base (includes holiday allowance)

* $230k USD stock split over 4 years

* Total comp: ~**€187,000 per year**

* Contract: **1 year + 1 year, then permanent**

**Option 2:** **Booking.com – Senior Engineer (G1)**

* €125,500 base (includes holiday allowance)

* 20% annual bonus

* $40k USD stock split over 3 years (with refreshers after 1 year — another ~$40k USD and similar going forward)

* $40k USD joining bonus split over 3 years

* Total comp: ~**€170,345 per year**

* Contract: **Permanent**
