After two years of grad school I gained a masters degree and ~30 pounds.
The summer before going back to school, I went on a hiking trip in the Rockies and was running my way up mountains no problem. Now, i have the same trip booked for the end of June and my watch yelled at me for “low cardio fitness”.
Yeah, no shit.
Anyways this was awful but I’m determined to run 5K before my trip so my heart doesn’t explode up in the mountains.
