Parents health insurance application got rejected. Need suggestions.

My father is 58 and my mother is 51. I applied for health insurance via Ditto.

Here’s what happened:

First, Ditto suggested HDFC ERGO, but told me upfront that because of my parents’ pre-existing conditions, HDFC would most likely reject the application. Then they advised me to apply for Care Supreme first.I applied for Care Supreme, completed all disclosures honestly, submitted every clarification document they asked for, and waited almost a month. Finally, Care rejected the proposal and gave a counter-offer with permanent PED exclusion, which I was not comfortable accepting. After that, the Ditto advisor suggested trying Aditya Birla because approval chances might be better there.I applied again, and now the same thing is happening there too.

At this point, I feel stuck and exhausted. My biggest priority is smooth claim settlement later.

So I wanted advice from people who have actually dealt with this situation:

  1. What are my options now for getting health insurance for parents with pre-existing conditions?

  2. Should I try through Policybazaar/Beshak Insurance / Directly through the insurance company? Or any insurance advisor/agent.My friend's father who's a CA has a good reliable agent.

Would really appreciate honest experiences and guidance from people who’ve gone through something similar.
