Dear all from an Emirati that’s low key sick of all this bullshit,
I’m sorry but this has to be said.
Why does everyone think that every single Emirati lives in a golden castle above the clouds and shits in a golden toilet and has millions of servants. You guys are aware that Emiratis have middle class and the poor class as well. OMG shocker a poor Emirati. Ya man. You think only you guys are struggling in this whole war situation and wow the Emiratis are so safe and sparkling in their fancy cars. No. I know so many people who got laid off. So many people who are in same situations as you. People who have lost their lives helping. You guys are aware that we are safe in this country because of there Emirati military who is run my Emirati men and women who constantly fight for this county for all of us to feel safe. Some people haven’t seen their family members or even spoke to them since this whole situation has started to keep you guys safe and yet we get all this ungrateful content put on this page bashing or making fun of campaigns that the country is putting forward to help us feel united. It’s honestly so fucking sad.
Did you ever think that maybe we are suffering to. Maybe some Emiratis lost their jobs. Maybe some Emiratis cant pay rent. Maybe some Emiratis are also struggling mentally. Nooooooo the discourse always has to be about the expats.
Maybe it’s because we trust our country. We saw the hardships of corona. We say the hardships of everything and we trust our government that we will prevail and the UAE will get better and safer.
I don’t care about you political comments that you will saying the uae this and the uae that.
Honestly be grateful we are all safe and alive. What country will go through a fucking war and still feel like normal day to day operations are happening. It’s a scary situation for all not only for you guys.
If you hate the situation so much, this isn’t a prison no once is forcing you to stay tbh. Idk why you guys act like you guys are being forced to live here. It’s you choice that you took to come here and live here no one forced you. If you don’t like it the door is wide open.. id honestly love to see this exact situation in your home towns and how your governments would have dealt with it to be honest. I’m gonna be harsh it has to be said.
You will never ever find rulers of a country that regard all of you as their own children. And we are proud of our rulers and all they have done for this country. A country that not only protects us, educates us, provides for us and much more.
Be grateful we aren’t all dead seriously. Life is too short. You never know what will happen tomorrow. Can we at least be empathetic towards each other for once. We are all going through a tough time together and it’s draining. It’s much more draining to see all this hatred when we can all be supporting one another. Maybe for once reach out to that Emirati friend or work colleague and ask how they are doing. We are all humans going through the same thing.
Edit: you guys can rant about all the bad stuff that has happened to you just don’t bash my country please its just feels bad. You would do the same for your country as well. And if anyone needs any help us as Emiratis are always here to help.
